AFC Bournemouth qualify for European football

AFC Bournemouth have qualified for Europe for the first time after drawing one-all with Manchester City at the Vitality Stadium. Junior Kroupi gave Bournemouth the lead in the first half with a superb finish, and the Cherries defended strongly for most of the match against heavy pressure from Manchester City. Rayan selected for Brazil at World Cup

AFC Bournemouth forward Rayan has been named in Brazil’s squad for the FIFA World Cup. The nineteen-year-old earned his place after an impressive start at Bournemouth, scoring five goals and providing two assists in thirteen Premier League appearances since joining from Vasco da Gama in January. His performances also brought a first senior Brazil appearance in April, when he came off the bench during a friendly against Croatia, adding to previous experience with the under-seventeen and under-twenty national sides. Bournemouth beat Fulham after red cards

Bournemouth have beaten Fulham one nil after a dramatic Premier League match at Craven Cottage on Saturday. Rayan scored the only goal in the fifty third minute, after both sides had been reduced to ten men before half time. Ryan Christie was sent off for Bournemouth, before Fulham’s Joachim Andersen was also shown a red card after a VAR review.
