AFC Bournemouth academy gains top status
AFC Bournemouth’s academy has been awarded Category One status from the start of next season. Category One is the highest level under the Elite Player Performance Plan and allows young players to compete against stronger opposition across every age group. The academy will also gain wider access to Premier League and EFL competitions, education programmes, performance support and opportunities designed to help players reach the first team.
