1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using AFCB.uk, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The site must be used only for lawful purposes.

2. Operator and contact information

AFCB.uk is operated as a personal, independent and non-commercial supporter project based in United Kingdom.

Legal notices, copyright concerns, privacy requests, security reports and reports of inaccurate or unsafe information should be sent to the email address above.

3. Independent supporter project

AFCB.uk is an unofficial supporter website. It is not owned, operated, sponsored, approved or endorsed by AFC Bournemouth, the Premier League, the Football Association, UEFA, FIFA or any competition organiser.

The project was created as a personal web-development challenge and is maintained voluntarily in the operator's spare time. It is not currently operated as a paid membership, ticketing or commercial sales service.

Club names, competition names, badges, logos, player names, stadium names and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only for descriptive supporter information. The official AFC Bournemouth website is available at afcb.co.uk.

4. What the site provides

The site may provide:

  • fixtures, results, league standings and competition information;
  • matchday planning, stadium-area maps, places, transport and route information;
  • weather, traffic, travel notices and accessibility references;
  • away guides and general supporter guidance;
  • headlines, summaries, thumbnails and links to original publishers;
  • links to selected video channels and original video pages;
  • search, display preferences and map-layer controls.

Access is provided free of charge. AFCB.uk does not sell tickets, travel, accommodation, insurance, merchandise, subscriptions or official club services. It does not currently generate revenue through paid access or sales. Transactions completed on an external website are governed by that provider's own terms.

5. Accuracy, timing and official confirmation

Information is assembled from databases, public feeds, APIs, approved publishers and editorial entries. Reasonable care is taken, but information may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or incorrect. Fixtures, kick-off times, venues, scores, tables, transport services and event arrangements can change at short notice.

AFCB.uk is not an official or sole source for time-sensitive decisions. Before travelling, buying a ticket, making a booking or attending an event, confirm the relevant details with the club, competition organiser, ticket issuer, transport operator, venue, local authority or emergency service as appropriate.

6. Travel, maps, weather, accessibility and safety

Routes, journey estimates, map positions, parking references, traffic notices, weather forecasts and nearby-place information are indicative only. They are not guarantees of access, availability, legality, safety or suitability.

  • Observe road signs, parking restrictions, venue instructions and local law.
  • Check live transport and weather information with the relevant provider.
  • Do not rely on a route where conditions appear unsafe or access is restricted.
  • Contact the club or venue for current accessibility arrangements.
  • In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

Visitors remain responsible for their own journeys, safety, belongings, bookings, insurance and compliance with stadium and transport rules.

7. Third-party content, services and external links

News and video cards direct visitors to the original publisher or platform. AFCB.uk does not claim ownership of third-party articles, photographs, videos, trademarks or publisher branding.

External websites and services are outside the operator's control. A link does not endorse every statement, advertisement, product, security practice or privacy practice on the destination service. Map, routing, weather, fixture, transport, traffic and media providers remain subject to their own terms and licences.

8. Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless stated otherwise, the original site design, software, layout, navigation, written supporter guidance and AFCB.uk branding are protected by copyright and other rights belonging to the operator or applicable licensors.

Visitors may view the site, save a reasonable personal copy and share ordinary links to public pages.

Without permission or a lawful exception, visitors must not:

  • republish, scrape, mirror or systematically extract substantial parts of the site;
  • remove attribution, copyright, trade-mark or source notices;
  • present third-party content as content owned by AFCB.uk;
  • use AFCB.uk branding to imply official club affiliation or endorsement;
  • sell, sublicense or commercially exploit site content or data.

9. Acceptable use

Visitors must not:

  • use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory or harmful activity;
  • attempt unauthorised access to accounts, administration tools, servers or data;
  • probe, bypass or interfere with security, authentication, rate limits or availability;
  • introduce malware, denial-of-service traffic or malicious code;
  • use automation in a way that creates unreasonable load or breaches third-party rights;
  • misrepresent the source, ownership, accuracy or official status of information.

Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect the project, its infrastructure, data providers or legal rights. Serious misuse may be reported to relevant service providers or authorities.

10. Accounts and administration access

There is no public registration system and no database of supporter, customer or member accounts. The only account functionality is restricted administration access used by authorised site operators to manage the project.

Administrators must keep credentials, multi-factor recovery information and backup encryption keys confidential, use secure devices and report suspected compromise promptly.

11. Privacy, cookies and local storage

AFCB.uk processes limited technical and administrative information required to deliver, maintain and secure the website. It does not sell visitor information or intentionally use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking profiles.

Details about server logs, administration data, cookies, local preferences, external resources, retention and individual rights are provided in the Privacy Notice.

12. Availability, security and responsibility

The site is provided free of charge on an “as available” basis. Features, data sources or the entire project may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time, including for maintenance, security, technical, legal or personal reasons.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful. Subject to that protection, the operator is not responsible for loss caused by reasonable reliance on unofficial, delayed or inaccurate fixture, travel, weather, map, venue or third-party information; decisions made on external websites; or events outside the operator's reasonable control.

13. Changes to the site and these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the project, data sources, security practices, legal requirements or operator details. The current version and update date will be published on this page.

14. Governing law and general terms

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts in that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to a visitor in another jurisdiction.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. These terms do not create a partnership, agency, employment relationship or official club relationship.

Before starting formal proceedings, visitors are encouraged to contact info@afcb.uk with a clear description of the issue so that a practical resolution can be attempted.
