
Electric submits artificial pitch plans
Bournemouth Electric Football Club has submitted plans to replace its main grass pitch with an artificial surface. The Broadway Lane proposals also include new perimeter fencing, a run-off area and eight fifteen-metre-high lighting columns positioned around the pitch. The club says the changes would provide a more consistent playing surface, reduce reliance on the weather and lower its maintenance costs.
